I found some family tree software that will help me with my ancestry search.

I recently purchased the Family Tree Maker 2010 software from Amazon.com to help me organize my research. I figured that if most of my online ancestry research was going to be computer generated then it would help me to organize it with this software. So far I am happy with the look and feel, and it seems to be very organized and easy to use. Seeing my childhood pictures and my family history on the computer screen looks better than old faded pictures. I purchased the Essentials version for $30. There are higher versions with more bells and wistles but I am trying to do a "free ancestry search" so I will stick with the lower cost version for now. I will let you know how it works.
